Right, I started listening to this, this morning and I have to say it looked like it was going the same way as Fergies's atrocious 'Funky Trance' wank...i.e. straight in the bin via the wheels of my car! There was just no soul, no heart to it...then I hit track 5 and for the last 45 minutes I have been stomping my guts out. It helps that Eddie dropped 'Boomerang' on Saturday at The Cross, but the last nine tracks are bloody awesome!!

I have to admit I won't be listening to it again, though there was some good tunage on it the mix bored me

Maybe it was just too hyped up?!

 

Im yet to listen to it but from all the expectations people had of it i reckon could be so easy for it to not live up to them after bein hyped up so much from the last one!! I dont think it was ever gonna be as good as the first really, was it?!

not heard it, but by the sounds of it eddie was just trying to be new and creative. his last cd was a ground breaker but that style of harddance isnt new ne more so eddie has to try sumthing different 4 this cd otherwise he would get accused 4 just realsing a copy-cat cd.

 

but like i said i cant really comment on the CD itself as i've not heard it and dont plan to either (as i h8 mixmag with a passion), unless sum1s willing to lend me the cd that it

i like it - starts off with some techno, bit off trance gets harder too finish, scratching works well over black dogs

 

wouldn't say its the best cd ever but it better than sharp blow to the nads for sure, plus its got the paul janes mix of lost in love

Was gonna mention some individual tracks, but then realised there were too many to mention. Listening to this CD doesnt compare to seeing the genius that is Eddie live, but what it loses in terms of raw energy it makes up for in terms of flawless production and scratching.

 

I think this CD is a grower too but am not sure if its as good or better than the first Bosh, only time will tell...

Didn't have the same impact on me as the first Bosh - it started amazingly well but when the scratching hit on Black Dogs i just thought he over-did it and murdered it....

 

The last couple of mixes are really dodgy too..

One of my fav producers, good good techno.

I like it but the scratchin over black dogs ruins that tune imo .... haha at the beginning bit tho - he has suuuuch a strong wigan accent and to put it on the cd just makes me larrf!!

I thought it was fookin brilliant. Only problem was the scratching part...its exactly the same as on the first one just over a diff tune.

Don't have the first Bosh CD so can't compare, but I am really enjoying it. The tunes 'Dreamland'(nu-NRG)and 'New Time, New Place'(Mauro Picotto)stand out for me.

 

He is a superb DJ but the scratching did'nt quite do it for me, maybe because its not a live set.

 

The Wigan accent is quality!

I've never rated Halliwell since I saw him after PvD, and to say he killed the atmosphere with toss tunes would be an understatement. It was a hard act to follow, but he should have done so much better. And I've heard nothing but bad things about his scratching and him overdoing it and recking tunes. Heavy scratching should be left to turntablists - who make it sound good! Also judging by the tracklist, it is all the tunes that have been around a while in a slightly different order - nothing mindblowing really.
