the 3rd Aliens film was shocking!! They shopuld have kept James Cameron after the masterpiece that was 'Aliens'.... still, the good enws is that he is writing AND directing #5 and #6 in the series - both of which will take place on earth!! With Cameron writing them they are hopefully gonna be as good as #2 (which he wrote + directed)

 

speaking of which...... aliens vs predator is finally scripted and paul anderson (resident evil, event horizon) is directing it - if he can get suspense like in Event Horizon then it will be great

Isnt it already being done ny computer? I downloaded a trailer for it a few days ago and it looks OKish but not brilliant. I dont thinkit sticks to the comics either.

nah - its due for release end of 2005... they aint even casted for it yet! The story itself is a direct port from the original comics and novels about how the predators bred a planet full of Aliens so they could hunt the ultimate prey blah blah, planet load of humans used to incubate the aliens and small band of survivors are trying to escape it all etc

actually that ain't quite right. The word about is that a scientist is breading aliens in the hope to make prediators come to the planet for hunting. But either way very similar story line. Guess we wont know anymore to next year about it. Although i know production has been started, apparently.

 

BUT #5 and #6 of Aliens. NICE ONE!! Esp since James is doing it.
