After releasing two online mixes I made (Techy and Moody) to the general public, most of the feedback I received was "Great mix, but you're jumping all over the place" (in terms of styles). I took some advice given to me by DJ Mili and made a 100% prog mix. While at first I worried that a 100% prog mix might sound boring, the mix turned out very nice with a lot of energy.

 

If you have some free time, I'd love for everyone to listen to this mix and let me know what you think of it. I've also finally managed to fix that problem where my mixes would not stream on a Mac. You'll still need Windows Media Player 7.0 or better.

just out of interest..... did Pete Tong read your name out on the Essential Selection the other week????? i swear i heard him mention a DJam who was listening over the internet........

If it was recent radio 1 have a "listen again" section where you'll be able to hear it.

 

www.bbc.co.uk/radio1 if you click on dance > then on pete tongs head > it should have the option somewhere there.

Yeah, my coworker who listens to Judge Jules religiously was listening to Fergie one day. He played a Phil Kieran remix of Inner City's "Big Fun" and I wanted to check it out. I found his show entertaining and I listen every now and then.

honestly! ok..... it was probably Fergie's show then. i heard someone mention your username when they were reading some shout-outs... it could be someone who has exactly the same name as you though! not sure. by the way, this was about two weeks ago now, so you won't be able to hear it on the radio 1 web site as they only keep shows for 7 days after they've been broadcast.

 

Ferg's alright.... [censored], his set at Global Gathering was pretty fierce, I didn't know he was like that these days.

I know, but I don't have enough space on my web host to put an 80-minute MP3 at 128 or 192 quality. Plus the RIAA goes looking for stuff like that to bust.

 

The mix will stream both on PCs and Macs. I made sure of it. If you really don't want to put Windows Media in your system, then e-mail me your mailing address and I will send you a CD. My e-mail address is info@d-jam.com

It won't stream on PCs running Linux. But I might just send you me address
