Posted August 26, 200321 yr CTW DJs Well the week of reckoning is finally upon us and its getting pretty exciting here at Phuture Towers, it is now the time to give you a more indepth insight to what our concept is about and why we are different from so many of our competitors! O.K, well firstly the focus of the night will be on DJ's, so many outfits these days are using the producer stamp with their lineups that it is now a blatently proven fact that just cos u can knock up wicked tunes time after time, doesnt mean u can DJ to them standards, and vice versa!! In our eyes it can take many years of working floors to be an accomplished DJ, so we've binned the "It's not what you know, but whom!" stigma for starters, and are playing people on how good they are on the decks! Secondly, we are choreographing the sets in an order that we feel will make the event progress, to prove that its shouldnt be a competition to see who can go the hardest, but a joint effort on making the night successful as a unit together! Thirdly, there is no red tape! If u are a good DJ and can prove this to us by means of demo, showing us some support, and having something in your character that u think makes u stand out from the rest then i promise eventually u WILL be played! Finally and last but not least! We all feel that one last thing needs to be confronted and that is the "VIP", its all well and good if people believe that they are a cut above the rest us, but i think that should be implemented in the more Glitterati style of clubs, at the end of the day, harddance is about going out with your mates, and having a throughly hardstomp with your friends, not about mincing round a vip room spitting dom perignon at all the jagged commoners , so in view of this there are no VIP's and no VIP area!!! Just friends and friends to be... So, as most of u already know it's this Saturday from 2pm-10pm, It's at possibly the best club facilities in South London (Including Rubberised Dancefloors, Rotary Argon lasers on ceiling, Sublime clarity of sound etc etc!), and the freshest DJ's that we can get our grubby hands on! PLUS AS A BONUS TO ALL YOU LOVELY PEOPLE AND TO SHOW WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER, OUR LAUCH IS ABSOLUTELY FREE TO EVERYONE! DJS THIS WEEK ARE: CARL NICHOLSON (Phuture Resident/TdV) BRAD LEE (TASTY) BRUCE & CLARE McCLAREN (SMILE) J-ME DREAMER ALI STORM (CUPID) @FIRE, SOUTH LAMBETH PLACE, VAUXHALL, LONDON As u can now see, the Phuture is alot closer than you think!

August 29, 200321 yr Set times are as follows!!!! J-ME - 2-3.30pm Dreamer - 3.30-4pm Ali Storm - 4.30-6pm clare McLaren - 6-7pm Carl Nicholson - 7-8.30pm Brad Lee - 8.30-10pm S'all good! I was gonna be playing last but due to Brad being unable to get there til late, we have swopped! More time to ave it for me4 then!
