again, this was legendary. EQ is now one of my favourite venus in london. the place is spot on, perfect, fantastic. it's in the middle of no where on a main road near a tube station, so the kids get to play earlier in the morning, which is why the DJ finished by dropped a tech version of apollo 440 - aint talking bout dub, at 7:20 in the morning

 

in these rooms the bass drums never stop, the sound slices your head, and your hands don't exist. every breakdown is accompanied by a bass drum. it all flows beautifully into 9 super charged hours. doing a psy trance night here is like standing there letting a rhythmic universe pass through your body.

 

the atmosphere at this gig was incredible. there's no try hard, no camo, no cyber, no beer boy, no pikeys, but lots of ppl are dressed up in exactly these clothes. they all talk to each other, they all love being in that room.

 

no one is local, everyone is totally immersed and gagging in the music, there's UV everywhere, they sell ham rolls for £1, and glowy things. there's no special dances, no groups, everyone is moving in the same way doing their own thing.

 

it's clubland, but real, recharged, unique and nice we have got to get some ppl to these. there's one happening 4th and 25th october, i think.

Have to agree with you Phil, the EQ is a top nightclub, hosting wicked events. I will be up for the October Atomic energy, so we will have to sort something for then, cos you just know it is gonna ROCK!!!

ctw dont frequent enuf 'underground' (4 want a better word) club events imo. seems to be always sundis, camden palace and the fridge hehe. ne way - rant side...

i've only heard a couple of tracks but the new 'wizzy noise' cd is, reputedly, incredible.

 

have you heard their track 'wizzy dominance'? it's a blinder. yay for greek psytrance!

hi ali, to be honest i have no idea what any of the tunes were:) the only thing i recognised was apollo 440 at the very end. and i was only on tea until 3am so wasn't blasted.
