Why do some of you lot feel it neccesary to make ridiculously WIDE posts?

OK, pictures are fine coz if its posted from another website then you have NO control over the width of it...but but making posts like...

"oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...." only about 20 times longer, is totally pointless and just make it [censored] annoying to reply to. Just coz you've made a short word longer by holding down one of the letters so a stupid amount is typed DOES NOT make that word/phrase/sound better. If you feel the need to accentuate then just make the word/phrase/sound BOLD

I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds this annoying.
