on a semi serious note.....

item on the news about a guy who looks like he's obsessed with monopoly.

there r ppl at work who r obsessed with things as well....mobile phones...80s music......trains...

is it healthy to be OBSESSED iwht something? to the point that when they mention the subject for the first time to someone else, they are almost embarassed to mention it.

Fantacism is never healthy.

If you are fanatical about something to the point where it stops you functioning normally in other areas of your life, then no.

I've always been attracted to people who have a passion about a certain something, I find it an endearing quality. Not sure where fanaticism might become a problem, however, I suppose it's when it stops them functioning normally outside of their hobby

passion is good, aye...gives u a drive for something. being passionate about music is good. means you might even learn to play an instrument or something.

being fanatical about music tho, to the point where you have to have all the music, have a napkin with a piano design on it, light shades that look like musical notes, and an electric door chime with your composers favourite tune, not so healthy maybe smile.gif

(i did just make all that up)
