Can anyone let me know if

 

 

I can have all pages opened, displayed ALONG the task bar rather than them grouping in one box.

well to get all mine down i click the little line in the right hand corner, but you may have to go to settings etc & change it in their hon..

 

im useless with pc's, but do what I did & have a fiddle(not literally) im sure you'll figure it.. thumbs.gif

There is a setting you can change, unfortunately I am not on an XP machine at the moment, I wil have a look later and let you know where it is

Go to start bar click on settings the click task bar settings!!

To clarify...

 

Right click on an empty part of the taskbar.

 

Click the "Properties" option.

 

Untick the "Group similar taskbar buttons" option.

 

Click the "Ok" button.

 

Job done.

i'd advise sticking with xp - windows mistake edition isn't as stable as xp (ha ha ha)

 

most stuff in xp is just a case of knowing where to click -- you should have 'less problems' on xp. nod.gif

 

uh if in doubt, i don't take credit card...or cheque...or money, for that matter wink.gif

Windows ME wasn't stable at all, let alone as stable as XP.

 

ME truly was an error of epic proportions, even for Microsoft. They should've just waited for XP from 98SE.

Yup, they moved an awful lot around going from 98/NT 4.0 to the 2000 interface... Then moved a bit more around again going to XP. It's worth learning the new locations though...

 

Before you know it, Dawn, you'll be an XP guru. Stick with it!
