Glasshouse @ Heaven and hell is a great venue. We just had major refurb and the place is looking nice. If you want a laid back afer party choose glasshouse, its mad, the staff are crazy too!

 

I think its worth it for 6hrs of clubbing, theres a choice of two rooms, yes its local djs, but its local people the club attracts, dont think you would get big name djs playing in a club such as glasshouse, because its a different type of crowd that go, referred to as the glasshouse family. Its been running 5 or so years now, no probs so far, all steam ahead.

 

U can sign up for free member ship on the www.glasshouseuk.com website and get in for eight pound. WHen you think about it how much do places like housewives choice charge. Its all roughly the same.

 

We have got one of the best soundsystems going since Glasshouse owners spent money on getting there own in. Think its in region of 30k rig they got setup. Loud as [censored]! Well worth it i reckon. And so laid back!

 

fair enough you wouldnt get big names in , but even £8 is [censored] steep for what it is.

 

F'rinstance, Incision (blatant plug) is £8, and we have booked the likes of Asa, Andy Moore, Casper, Alex Kidd, Ben Stevens, Caroline Banx etc etc ALL ON THE SAME NIGHT

 

so why is it that glasshouse is an extra 2 quid, and booking djs no 1has heard of????

 

like i say fair enough book the local lads, but drop the door tax to a reasonable level- like about a fiver.

Think out of the names u mention there think ive only heard of Alex Kidd, i would much rather go see the likes of Hard man or Big brett of which styles i know. True i doont suppose they do have much cash to splash and yes they do spend more money on the funky side of things. But no-one who has ever been to glasshouse can say the funky room was dead. Its rammed to full capacity in there every week!

.You always see a familar face.

You always meet new people

.People are very freindly ( always share if ya know what i mean lol)

.It may be exspencive but the venue is good for dancing, just realxing,

.Good soundsystem

.Good Lighting.

.Freindliest bouncers in a club ( specialy Malcom )

.Staff are freindly as hell

I used to love Glasshouse when it was at Len & Digbys in York Place - now its just not the same - it was proper dark, underground n seedy then !

Wish i went days of digby's heard so much, like they used to have a bouncy castle.

The first ever Glasshouse i went to when it just moved to heaven and hell, i was in Hysterics becuase there was 5 old guys sat in hell in bondage gear and one of them was holding 4 leads to the other 4 guys was soo funny never seen owt like that b4 but it's so chnaged know lol

 

I do thing Karl, Kathryn, Karl Junior and Big brett and the other dj's and staff do a well good job and roll on many years of the Glasshouse

Digbys was the best - they had a bouncy castle in there, a ball pit, a wendy house & even a jaquzzi once!

sounds amazing. i on't think they could have a jaccuzi know though with all the ghb that goes around. but i got say over the past year since the gh have banned certain people no one has gone under atll all,

i was promised a set at glasshouse about a yr ago, still havent played there! oh well watch out for incision after hours

Gilly sent them a cd, there looking for new dj's i heard

will do, but cyberdog have been wanting me to release a Cd for yrs, but i am just [censored] at getting round to doing them! Oh well!

 

i love the idea of GH, but find after a night out i often do not have a tenner to go into another club, if it was less i do honestly think i would be there every week as i have heard all the DJ's that play and they are all VERY good!

i used to go every week and it cost me fortune's so know i just go once a month and special occasions and it's really good.

 

I know if you been to a club b4 hand and you don't have enough money it's unfair, sometimes i don't go to a club b4 hand

 

but still i think the gh is one of the best hh/funky clubs in Leeds as it get's people from all over the country coming to it.

 

sort out a cd and sent it to big Brett ( dedicated it to his baby daughter which i call lil brett lol)

no don't really go out Friday nite's due to religion ( not a joke parents r strict about it)
