One of the worlds best magicians? yeh I give him that!

I've only ever see him do his "street magic", never seen him do anything in a more controlled environment, so I am reserving judgement on that

Thing is, he should have stuck to it, instead he's hijacked the one and only tool of last resort that the opressed the world over have when all else has failed.

Twat, should be whipped!!! thumbsdown.gif

Pardon? mystics/shamen/yogis/religious figures have been doing this for centuries, either as a show of faith, or as a way to enlightenment, so saying that David Blaine his hijacked it from the oppressed is just crap.

Went down to Tower Bridge yesterday, early evening and there was a fair sized crowd.

Was a nice vibe there and DB seemed in good spirits, waving and smiling at people... its not worth spending a large amount of time there, but its worthwhile to pop by.

The fact that so many people who "think this is the most pointless thing they've ever heard of" are so motivated to keep slagging him off or even go down there to throw things at him, speaks volumes.

yeah, I wandered by last night too

was kinda a bit surreal, having a burger (and then a 99 for desert), at night, with a bigish crowd, watching a strange man, in a box, in the air.

not that exciting really after 15 minutes though

speaks volumes as to what? that maybe unlike the americans, we don't like someone who craves attention so much that they have to present themselves in a box to us, elevated near the heavens?

i reserve every right to slag him off because i think he's a narcissistic, arrogant prick who feels the need to justify his existence to the world. and if i lived in london i would visit him every few days to make sure he knows that.
