Right, need to get myself a CD writer, as tapes are becoming a bit too old skool even for me.

Anyone recommend a good hi-fi seperate CD writer that is cheap (ie within a students budget)?

I don't know, I just like the feel and look of hi-fi seperates. CD Writers always leave me feeling a bit cold.

For me, doing mixes has got to be a hands on thing. Plus I like to have something to throw across the room when I [censored] up, which you can't do with a computer file.

im gettin mine from richer sounds - seen em there for £100-£150

ask in there

My mate got one from Richer sounds, and he paid £140 i think, its a decent enough thing, simple to use etc. i think his is a Phillips or Pioneer, cant remember which, i'm going to his tonight and i'll have a peek, but i think there were cheaper ones than his at richer!
