Well what can I say?

 

I started my journey from Leeds on the 17.40 train to Kings cross, something which I hadn’t been looking forward to travelling down on my own, but luckily armed with the new copy of Max Power the time passed pretty quickly. Half way down I got a text from Phil B saying he was stuck in kings cross, luckily about 10 mins after that Crill text me to let me know he was setting off shortly and he’s meet up with Phil (Nice on Paul!!)

 

I arrived in Kings Cross about 8.30, to be met by Phil, Crill and a mate of mine (Currently lives in Kent, and will hopefully be joining the site soon!) Creamy turned up shortly after and while he hung around the station waiting for someone else we headed off to the Ruby Lounge

 

There were a few members already in here, and I didn’t really get chance to meet you all, but I recognised some faces from the board. Slowly more and more people started turning up, and the edge of the bar was rammed with CTW people. Lisa & Tony turned up shortly after us (great to met you guys finally), about 9.30 Phil B, Tony, Lisa, Liam and a few others headed off to the club while we stuck around the Ruby Lounge and finished our beers!

 

We got into the club about 10.30, Crill/Kev introduced me to a few people, but after a few bottles of Stella my nervousness went and I began talking to just about everyone!

 

LiamStyles - I caught the last half an hour of Liam’s set (Great opening set mate!)

 

LittleMissLoud – I only caught some of your set, I was darting back and forth up stairs to see Tony’s (2 more great sets from what I heard!) When LML dropped Signum’s - What ya got for me, I knew it was gonna be a wicked night!

 

Phil B – I caught all Phil’s set, and what a set – quality mate really enjoyed it!

 

Andy Whitby – Another top set, incorporating some wicked scratching, a little harder than his predecessors earlier in the night. Andy - your remix of Dyewitness’s – Only if I had one more needs to be released mate!

 

Carl Nicholson – although you came across as very pissed mate, another great set!

 

Chris Hawkes & Chris Hutchinson – I was well mashed by this point, still sat in the DJ booth, and to be honest I don’t remember much from here on, but my mate assures me that these were both good sets, Paul takes the blame for my mashedness!!

 

When it reached 6am we were ushered out the club, and everyone was trying to where to go. Most went on to Twist, but my head was so mashed I just wanted to sit and chill for a few hours before my train home plus it gave me chance to catch up with my mate Lee, who I’d not seen for ages.

 

I finally arrived home at 2pm, and collapsed in bed!

 

All in all I had a great night, and it was a delight to finally meet the following people

 

Phil B, Creamy, Finn, Liam, DDTony, Dizzy Clubber, Tony P, Lisa, Pepsi, Carl Nicholson, FTB, Shenlong, Tara, Bukey, Luu Luu, TidyTurd, Mr Ginge, MrMoo, Andy Whitby, James & Maria (Briefly) and anyone else I was speaking too

Quiet suprised you got such an indepth review from the back of the DJ booth. As for blaming me for being mashed, all I can say is [censored] you lightweight...I felt fine!

 

On a more serious note...What a [censored] excellent weekend. Thank you to anyone involved in making this happen. You know who you are so I won't bother with shoutouts.

Cheers m8y, glad u liked it, full title of that track is Andy Whitby & Sam Green - One More, went a bit hard at the end of my set don't usaully go like seemed to work well.
