This is not compulsary but where possible could you use this logo on your CDs instead of the forum logo (which doesnt quite look right and I've still got to sort out a better version for you!)

 

I think this one looks nicest and it will look right on any background ...

james - whats the official stand on this. i meen like its obvious that the ctw DJs r gonna be using em. but what about people like liam who do do loads of promotional cd's but arnt official ctw DJs.

 

and what about DJ's like myself who do cd's just 4 fun (ie not to be distributed int eh aim to gain gigs). r we free to use em and if so would u like us to use em?

yep you are all free to use these logos

 

its when it comes to putting the logo against nights / events we need to know about it

 

however, I'm actually thinking about getting a couple of variations of this kind of logo made up - so the existing one can be used for promotions, whereas a new one would be like a "CTW Event" stamp or something, meaning its an event organised by CTW with CTW DJs playing.

 

(still thinking this one through!)

 

In the meantime though all members can use the logo but promotors & web masters should ask permission first

have 2 mail logos.

 

1) for members to advertice the site on thier cd's etc

2) and official logo (like the stamp u described) that says that the club night/ cd/etc is officially endorsed by ctw

anyone know of any very good graphic designers who can build logos/icons/flyers etc... They obviously need to be in the same style as the current logos. I seem to not be able to get hold of the guy who originally didnt the forum logo

 

or perhaps we have a competition ?
