PROJECT.

Anyone who wants to be involved, can be.
The plan is this:

One party a month. Fri/Sat night.

Everyone who wants to be involved will need to put up £20 for each party.
All the decisions will be made by e-mail vote by the people in the project.
Once all the money has been collected that will be the budget for the party.
ALL of that will be spent on the party no more, no less. That way there is no debt to be incurred, no tax problems, just a wicked party truly made by the people who count.
The entry charge that will be collected will be added to the budget for the next party on top of the £20 from each person. Effectively making it possible to improve/expand with every party.

I'm happy to co-ordinate everything as long as the people involved do their fair share of spreading the word and giving their input. Theres plenty to do for everyone who wants it.

It can be a real chance to get EXACTLY want you want out of a night out, and be responsible for putting it there in the first place!!!!

I'd prob be up for it. Afterall, whats 20 quid? You can quite easily spend that on a ticket somewhere and have a [censored] night. This way you get a night out and put a little something back.

Nice idea mate, and as Tony says its great to see people getting involved for the right reasons and not out soley for themselves

 

I can imagine this could be an adminstrative nightmare with collecting the money off people etc. and keeping everyone happy but good luck !

 

If all the people you attract are the right people then of course there is no reason why it cant work !

The admin could be a nightmare but as said it's all just a case of keeping things simple.

I'm not going to chase people for money. Just give people the opportunity to make meetings/Get money to me. If they're serious about it then it'll get there!

Bottom line tho, it's just about throwing a wicked party and giving everyone who wants it the chance to get what they want, while doing something good for the scene as a whole.
