Why didn't he do this trick in America, where they would all stand around praising him on his new diet regime, in between bouts of hugging each other and crying over his resolve to sit in a plastic box.

I don't do much on this planet, but David Blaine has taught me that I could do less!!

    i think he thought that if he did it in Britain, then hordes of old ladies and war veterans would come and cheer him on with traditional British spirit, accompanied by the sound of brass bands and the sight of the queen's guards on horseback.

     

    rather amusingly, he was much mistaken.

    i like david blaine but think this 'stunt' is sooooo dull..im sure he could have done something more exciting? And as for that prick who tried to cut the cable and cut his water supply..im embarrassed we have such arseholes in this country no.gifmad.gif
