Why is it when you YAWN the music SLOWS DOWN ???

 

Never mentioned this before, no I'm not going mad, the music actually SLOWS DOWN when I yawn whilst listening to music. Pitch and everything.

cos you stop & for a sec realise you are knackered!!

You mean, like your ears POP ?

nope, i mean like the music actually appears to slow down (including the pitch is lower) and then speeds back up to normal speed again when the yawn is complete.

 

only happens on particularly deep/long yawns.

 

i bet you all the money in the world other people are out there who get this - just a question of time before someone posts ...

I know what you mean actually, but it isnt just the music that sounds different.

 

You do it outside in busy traffic and the same hapoens.

yeah, i wasnt saying / didnt mean with ONLY music

 

its just that its more noticeable to me with music, especially when i've got headphones on like now lol

Try going outsode and doing it

 

Carefull you dont get run over tho !

when you yawn in general you get a whooshy/air type noise, prehaps this distorts the music etc!!

it's probably to do with stuff in ur ear

to b honest i have never really noticed, i only notice that when i stop i'm usually knackered cos i have stomped so much that i am dyin
