We are working in a Post office, and we need to do work in the counter area, so we have to do it out of hours!

usually work 8-5, but cos of the shite in the PO we gotta start early!

which i dont mind really cos my weekend can start just as early!

what the [censored] does a heating engineer do?

fix radiators? why do they need fixing it aint cold enough to have heating on!

fix radiators, fit boilers, fit pipework, its actually one of our busiest times of year as everyone gets new stuff while they dont need their heating!

 

We do a lot of industrial stuff, not so much houses, more like schools hospitals, fire stations and not forgetting post offices!

 

 

Well now u come to mention it my radiator in my room works but every 30 seconds it makes a ratatatatata sound that lasts 15 or so seconds then 30 seconds of silence followed by 15 seconds again.iv tried bleeding it but no fix!! it does it over and over and is well annoyin!! what do u reckon it could be?

Do you have a Thermostatic Radiator valve?

Its got a knob on the valve to decide how hot you want it to be (just incase you didnt know what it was)

 

If so i would imagine its that, and you've got it fitted on the wrong pipe, as they tend to bang if you have the water pumping the wrong way through them!
