..is anyone a lover of this type of music or am I on my own on this one ?

 

Im listening to the instramental theme tume to the film True Ramance and I love it.

 

I love hearing all the different instraments that catch your ear and sound sooo crystal clear (I guess that could be my BOOM sound system ). I could sit for hours listening to pieces of music like this.

 

Call me sad but *bothered*...I love it. I love it all !!

Define "instrumental" Are you refering to non dance music ?? Or do you mean anyhting without vocals? You can get instumentals of loads of stuff (dance music included) which is simple tracks with the vocals.

I like all instrumental music. Non dance and dance.

 

If you download the theme tune to True Romance you will see what type im refuring to here (non dance).

 

Flutes / harps / pianos ( I LOVE pianos in any tune) / synths / drums etc....

I would love to be in a position to incorparate these "live" instruments into my productions and make an albumn.

I used to have a load of Synthersizer albums years ago - I used to collect them ( ) when I was a kid, as my dad was very much into that sort of music.

 

I think that is why I take a keen interest in loving any kind of instrumental music as my dad likes this kind of stuff and I guess I was brought up in that kind of environment when it comes to music.

 

This type of music I APPRECIATE dearly. It's so easy to listen to and it is as relaxing as you like and I love hearing all the different instuments played but I mostly like catching the sounds you tend to not notice !

Yes definately, but even non dance stuff aswell. Film scores etc

I like playing tunes with no vocals, esp old house tunes, you can cut accapella's up (via means of a sampler, or live mixing) and really [censored] with peoples heads!

Still not sure what you mean by "instrumental" music. About 95% of my record collection is instrumental, in the sense that it is not vocal, or only have minimal / dubby use of vocals.

 

I wouldn't say I like all instrumental music though, just as I would say I don't like all house music!!

 

Do you mean something more specific Maria, like more "classical" / "melodic" music? A caveman banging a drum counts as instrumental music!

never been a big fan of vocals in music as a whole. what ever the genre. obviously theres exceptions (faithless's stuff, breakbeat, 80's electro)
