this morning pvd produced some of tbe best 3 hours of sound i've ever heard (ever)...

 

apparently he loves crasher. right from the start at 1am, he was hitting it out with crisp, fast, clean, trancey, techno'y bass lines and super sharp trance riffs. You could have mistaken the first hour of his set for the peak of the night.

 

Ashley casselle did a first rate job of building it up perfectly for the 30 mins before paul came on. crisp bass drums were thumping it out at whatever bpm, crowd were drinking it in. Then with a bit of magic, pvd took over, the sound changed slightly into THE SOUND, and he absolutely blasted it out. [censored] 100%, pure, quality, total and absolute PVD-ness. He completely reminded everyone why his nicknames "god", and he blasted the club apart with the exact sound that the world loves him for. Didn't recognise a lot of the tunes and i wasn't that messy either, in fact i only had 1, which wasn't superb (actually it was shite:)), but [censored] that for the night, the MUSIC was IN THERE, every single [censored] beat shot straight through the speakers and into you.

 

I've been re-converted back into saying this is my favourite ever DJ, in the world, bar none. Totally blew the place apart with the sort of sound that changes my world.

 

Seems to be doing some variety as well. He had an apple mac powerbook running for his entire set, doing stuff with it all the time. Oh and...his mixing was perfect, didn't spot a single glitch.

 

and [censored], he was waving his hands, jumping up and down and smiling. paul van dyk doing that.....wtf's that all about then?

I have to agree it was an abolutely unbelievable night! reckon its necessary to take my hat off to scott bond as well, his set was amazing! I know its a long shot but does anybody on here know the name of the song he opened with? loved it!
