i can't i had my nails done yesterday and i'll end up poking my eyes out if i try to itch them, i've got numerous scratches all over me from the nails already

Mind you, imagine this:

 

A bloke (clumsy at the best of times), right handed, with a right arm he couldn't physically lift for six months. Tearing the paper was the second worst thing. Wiping was the worst. 'Spreading' would be a better term.
