I know what you mean. Some parents should take a more active role in protecting their own offspring from the potential dangers of child molesters, but it's easier to just shut down some of the chat rooms and monitor the few that are left, than to train parents in the fine art of computer use.

 

Bearing in mind that most people who own a computer haven't a clue what they are doing with it.

    Agree mate...but MSN is the tip of the iceberg...they may have 100'000's of chat rooms but IRC, + Website based BB Based, + all the others, add up to millions of chat rooms... you might as well try to close down the internet. I mean three way or more msn messengers are potentially chat rooms!!

    I'd rather see bill gates give half his fortune to Oxfam, or Save the children. Then i would know he really cared about children.

    apparently because of the amount of users, the advertising revenue generated wasnt sufficient to employ as many mods as needed.

     

    obviously if a kid gets abducted after meeting someone in there they are liable to a massive lawsuit.

     

    i shouldnt imagine it was for kiddies sake to be honest, it was just spin to create good press about an awful company
