At a guess I'd say 7 hours but then I'm just guessing, I could be wrong but her guess what, someone might have the answer, yes thats right, a bloody flight website who do actually cater for these sort of questions. :idea:

where in canada? vancouver is as far west as san francisco so western canada would be 10 hours or thereabouts.

It all depends on how fast you are travelling. There is no definate time...plus...with the time difference, depending on the way you went, you might even arrive before you left.

I flew to calgary, it's a lot cheaper to go via the states.

 

Birmingham to Chicago was about 7-8 hours and then Chicago to Calgary was about 2-3 hours.

 

The downside was that I had to wait 10 hours for the connecting flight.
