Ive not done anything to it thats the weird thing.

Wash it with salt water, it'll sting like hell but usually does the trick.

Go to the Doctors in the morning, you don't really need to do much to get an infection.

remember to use tepid boiled water, and rinse it well with cool water afterwards, you don't want bits of salt stuck in your eye, also it might be a good thing to make sure the salts thoroughly desolved before washing your eye with it
