Ok, my new PC came today and I wanna hook up to broadband asap. So who is everyone with? or alternativley who the best?

Im with NTL

 

u can only have one cable company in ur area. it'll either be NTL or Blueyonder (Telewest)

 

or u can have ADSL which is BT, but u can have other companies....

 

ADSL u get double the upload speed.

 

Cable is better imo.

Nah there is no cable round here at all!

have a look at the adsl guide... *fergets addy fer website*..urm.. they'll help ya'... las' time i saw..it were BT, Virgin fer' reliability..alonside summnk else..but some are cheaper as well..it all depends on what ya' wanna pay and what ya' can get... been told to avoid AOL meself tho..

Dont go near AOL.... im havina fuckload of problems with them, lookin for a new isp myself!! Wanted to go on blueyonder as theyre meant to be one of the best, but they dont do my area so am probably gonna go with pipex as heard its good www.pipex.com also heard plusnet is good too!!

I wish I had broadband.

I love broadband, just want a better ISP for it!!

I bought a new pc and spent a lot of money, its full of shite and I have to take it back!

 

Be careful what you wish for!!

Get someone to build you a pc instead.... if you go to a smaller pc shop they will usually do it for you and you get a better pc usually!!

avoid aol like the plague.

 

erm, mates have said that pipex is good, just buy a computer mag and have a look at the list they have.
