if you can get a transfer to a different area if you don't feel safe in your house?

i haven't been broken into or anything but i just hate this house and don't feel safe here

I would imagine it all depends if your a council tennant!

If you are then you can apply for a transfer no matter of circumstances.

How long and where to i've no idea though depends on different councils.

it is a council house, but they said it was a three year waiting list, and i don't think my house will still be standing in three years

Apply anyway ... you never know some unfortunate soul may want to move there so the wait wouldn't be as long thumbs.gif

rotfl.gif theres more empty houses than occupied ones round here, it used to be really nice, and then they moved a load bratty kids in with their parents who spend all their time in the local pub and the kids are left to do as they please.

its so bad i won't even go to the shop round the corner on my own after dark paranoid.gif

Then put in for a transfer now, 3 years will fly by.

You could always look into other housing associations.
