The site is not solely about the DJ's and I don't see how them making money benefits the site.

Put on something I might enjoy and I'd go, until then I'll support the site my way.

Bit OTT there in my opinion, of course miss_diddy is going to be praising this all the way after the last one, ok it was mainly HH but there was a funky room and everyone who went knew the genre of the night.

 

To me the members and the site are being supported purely for the meet up of the people off this site, doesn't matter where the event is, or who's putting this night on, but i'm sure i'd rather pay to see 'OUR' Dj's making money or not than others you can see week in week out.

To be honest, Smile is a Hard Dance club, so the promotor, I would assume want the dj's in the main room to play hard house.

 

However, I don't think if someone can't make it/ doesn't come because they know they won't enjoy it doesn't mean they don't support the site - if they made plans beforehand (clubbing or otherwise) I don't think we are ones to judge, as they may be out at many other meets, or even support the site in other ways, by bringing something positive to it in the form of idea input etc

Never DJ'd in my life so I think I'll leave it to the ones who know what they're doing.
