I was playing Misfits @ J21 in leicster last night and Ben Kaye was on after me.

Can't say that i loved the tunes he was playing (V. Godd tunes, just to trancey for me) but his scratching was amazing. Recon it may even rival Eddie Haliwell. Had any1 else heard him do this, it's [censored] awesome!

I've been saying this for years, the man is incredible at scratching! about a year ago i was in the studio with him and he started fannying about on the decks, i couldn't believe it so i asked him how he did it so fast to which his technically sound reply was:

 

'dunno, my hand just spacks out'

[censored] Ben (he's better than eddie in my eyes) you want to hear Duffin, although for some reason he never does it when he's playing out. But the INF DJ's from my way all say that Duffin is amazing and the best they have heard by any DJ within the hard dance seen.

Dont rate Eddies scratchin..same 'wakka wakka' sound over and over...

Never heard this guy tho.

Halliwel is good at stratchin but there are so many people who are better; Kutski, Ben Kaye, Ilogic. I dont think scratchin is "so last year" either, its amazing to watch and sound great and is so bloody hard to do.
