Did David Blaine stay inside his perspex box for 44 days without food or was it simply an illusion?

just been watching this morning and Paul McKenna (hypnotist and showman) said it was simply an illusion. a good one but still an illusion.

All real. Or that is what im believing anyway.

 

I watched it last night - and just to hear the words he was saying about life, about his mum, about people in the world, seeinh him being emotional etc...

 

I don't thnk it was an illusion at all.

 

But yet, I may get proved wrong.

 

If I am right and it was all genuine - then fair play to him - he gets every ounce of respect from me.

 

It was a stunt...there was no illusion in it.

I reckon he had some sort of nutrients in his water as its a known fact that no one can live for that long without food

They were supposed to of tested his water though and it was found to be just water??

I wonder if they could have got vitamins through in his air supply some how?

hes an illusionalist so therefore somehow this was an illusion

i reckon its an illusion - losing weight to back the illusion is not difficult

 

i personally dont think the government (and shite loads of other organisations like sky, cnn, channel4, PR companies etc..) would allow such a 'risky' stunt to take place in such a high profile area. Without a doubt there was a garuantee in place that he would not die 'on set'.

 

People keep moaning about David but at the end of the day there are [censored] load more people than him making money out of this and allowing it to go ahead in the first place.

 

I think I understand his reasons for doing this, but even the reasons stated could be an illusion / lie - who knows.

"thousands of people are starving and living in a box every day and we walk on by, and one idiot does it for entertainment and we all watch and applaud him"

agreed Beckie - but I think the anger should be directed at the stupid public rather than David - he said himself he couldnt give a toss if people came and saw him or if they agreed with it or not - he was doing it for himself and i understand his reasons based on his alledged background. (his reasons could be part of the illusion of course)

I think that David Blaine is a conspiracy!!

 

I think he should have done this challenge in jail, then it would help him understand how people, who chose to go on hunger strike felt.
