if you look at it from a financial perspective tho- promoters/ djs make up a large number of site members. More site members= more money from people who want to advertise on the site formally.

Being one of the people who has been here for a while and seen the site change, it annoys me when promoters/djs USE this site.

if you look at it from a financial perspective, people aren't gonna just go onto a website to be advertised at. the more djs/promoters that come on here, the more clubbers that are just gonna get pissed off and leave.

I really honestly can not comment on this as I was not using the site then, but from what I am reading it sounds like the site was excellent!!

if you're not, then it used to be a lot more about havin a laff, arranging meets where all the regulars would make the effort and there weren't any djs or promoters coming on to post 1 post about their new night/mix.

i think that the moderators have too much power in that they have changed the name of this post. Put it back so that peeps who haven't read the 1st post b4 know wot its going on about cos otherwise madders' 1st post dont make sense
