well for an example

 

in a club in london u went for a wander would people just come up to you and have a converstion?

i wouldn;t knoe if a person was from the south or the north anyways unless they had a really ovious accent.

 

I think the clubbing community is friendly where ever you go as we all go to clubs for the same reasons..well.. most of the time

but last year when i went to aquarium in london i got chatting to these 2 girls and i found out they were from leeds and they were saying that they didn't think clubbing in the south was freindly

 

 

but it probs depends on what type of club you go to as well

im sure theres probally some on going confict between north and south - sorta like the welsh and the english.

 

Im a very inexperienced clubber - only been clubbing twice in my life - May 30th at the fridge in brixton and then they tidy weekender.

 

the people at tidy for instance was a mixture of people from all round the UK - and i found that it i lost the group i was with - i just had to talk to someone else and i could hang with them.

 

bit like myself and ben - we met on the train - didn;t know each other at all and if it wasn;t for tidy i wouldn;t of made a new friend ra ra ra

i do agree the hh scene is a lot more freindlier (sp) where ever you go

my view is that comments like his are such vague generalisations they are useless and simply perpetuate a pointless division.

what rubbish, people come a talk to you and are just as friendly down south.

 

maybe the reason us southerners are less friendly is we have to pay tax........

people are friendly enough down london, but i did find that you get pushed about and not a lot of manners were used, but thats just cus everyone is so used to rushing about!

[censored] generalisations. I'm from the northwest but have spent the last seven years down south. There are all sorts of differences between northern people and southern people, some negative, some positive. And for every "rule" there are a thousand exceptions.

 

The brief answer is: there are loads of very friendly clubs in London, and down south in general.

 

The sole sweeping statement I'm prepared to make, is that the less music-orientated bars and clubs (as opposed to "proper" dance venues) up north tend to be a lot "rougher", in terms of general attitude and your chances of having your head kicked in!
