is this series on tv in the uk - set in a funeral home in LA and written by alan ball who wrote 'american beauty'?

 

i'm just finishing up watching the 1st series on dvd and it's up there with the sopranos. wonderful writing, great direction, amazing acting.

to be honnest i havent given it that much time, but from what i have seen i didnt find it that great.

 

american beauty was a master piece imo but i didnt find myself warming to 6 ft under. but then i watch tv for different reasons to watchin films so that might be the reason why

AWESOME!

Getting the box set in the next few weeks.

Cant wait!!
