I'm not gonna lie to you Phillip, I'm not good.

 

This morning, I burnt my mouth on my coffee. Things were only to go downhill from there. I got to work to find that somone had put my stapler into a jelly ('The Office' stylee). Then, at lunchtime I thought I'd go treat myself to a slap-up fish and chips. Whilst eating the aforementioned meal, I found a 2p pence in the lower half of the fish. Disguisted by this lack of health and safety, I went back to the establishment and argued my case for a full refund. All I got was a smack in the gob Phillip, can you beleive that ?

So I walked back to work, retrieved my stapler from its jelly casing and went about my afternoon.

On my way home from work, I came across a stray dog with three legs and wonky eyes. I thought, even though my day had been so bad, I'd help him out by taking him to the supermarket and buying him some dog food. Whilst in Liddles, the little blighter only managed to turn the key in the ignition, put his little paw on the accelerator and drive to Swansea !

Anyway, I'm back now and sitting down to an evening of chess and CTW.

I had a very similar 'episode' back in 1986 (in Spain), it's not an ordeal I want to go into details about on an open forum but suffice to say I've recovered now and I can feel your pain
