was just an idea, posibly something to consider in the future as the site grows etc, as James has stated he would like to turn the site around to one that is for all for all music genre's & not solely HH!!

I think a fair few like D&B (myself included). Presumably any popular form of contemporary dance music counts. I can't think of a good reason [in theory] why some R&B doesn't count as dance music.

We could always just do what we do in the events forum and put the genre in square brackets at the front of the posts title.

 

eg

 

[HH] Paul Glazby - [censored] Hostile...

[D&B] Tune ID Needed!!!

[Trance] Paul Van Dyk; God or Not???

[Funky House] When The Sun Goes Down

 

 

etc etc...

 

Thus making it easier for me to avoid the 100's of posts about HH tunes!!!

Good idea Ed, but then you will get people saying 'you can't pigeonhole my music into blah blah genre'.

 

Although maybe that is a bit negative. We could give it a try?

 

If the site was bigger, or just dedicated to music, we could have different music genre forums, but we are too small at the mo I think. Also, people who are into other forms of music need to feel thay can post more, and not be shot down.
