Oh i knew how ud do the actual loops in fruity and the arranging in cubase etc - i just wondered about the benefits were with doin it that way rather than just using fruity or somethin!!

For my audio editing i have soundforge 6.0.. whats Goldwave like for it.. have u ever used soundforge? smile.gif

I can't do half of the arrangement things I want with FL,

You probably could tbf but it just wouldnt be in the same way that you do them in cubase smile.gif

Hmm, I seriously doubt it. Cubase has been around for about 5 times longer, & it is made by a much bigger company - little wonder it has a LOT more features!

Besides, Cubase is much more ambitious (for years it has been pushed as a multi-channel audio / MIDI sequencer) whereas FL is still, ultimately, very loop-orientated.

N.B. I've been using Cubase for about 5 years and FL for about 1 year. So it seems a bit silly when people who have hardly used Cubase tell me "I bet you can do all of that in FL"! shrug.gif

Ahh i see, well I know a lot of people who are very good at their producing using fruity.. people like Technikal and ReBirth.. would be interesting to see (as theyre about a fillion times more knowledgable in these things) what they make of this and if they can shed any more light on what you can and cant do.. seeing as they use it for everything, not just their loops!! smile.gif

i'm guessing it was the FX routing u said u didn't think u could do in Fruity, if so i'm gonna have a play tonight and see what i can come up with.

And also to be fair, i do agree that cubase has a lto more going for it, and i may try using it again, but every time i've used it on my computer i've had no end of problems which i've not been able to sort. May try installing again later and see if u lot can help me out with any of the problems

you need me i'm magic E, hehe
