Anyone watch this on TV last night

I thought it OK but could of been better- lets hope future episodes give more chance to listen to the tunes they play

I saw it & thought what a pile of poo!! the only conclusion ive come up with cos it was the first episode they just showed the final four getting thru as there was hundreds to start of with & from now on the program will improve, well cant really get any worse now can it!!!!

Exactly what I was meaning- they only got to play 2 records so lets hope future weeks sees improvement

I thought the program was just 'wrong'. Don't get me wrong, I love watching DJ's, I love mixing, and I love being really enthusiastic about music etc, but to watch people do it on TV, to me just didn't seem right ...

If this program is the DJ's equavalent to Pop Idol (which is what ITV originally billed it as), then I hope we get the chance to hear them 'show off their skills' and mix a few tunes, just like Pop Idol allows you to hear its contestants singing (well, if you can call it singing!), instead of just letting you hear a few bars of the odd tune here and there, whilst being made dizzy by an over excited director with a remote control camera ... otherwise what's the point of making a program about it?

i watched it too and thought it had loads of potential..but like someone else said..how can u judge how good someone is by just playing 2 records??? its crazy...

 

i thought the irish girl was excellent..but i wouldnt have gone as far as what Mr C said about her being 'the new carl cox!!' hahaha!! wtf are u talking about?

 

Hopefully next weeks will be better..and i dissagree with what someone said about it not being right on tv..i thought it made a nice change to be able to watch and see how much talent u need to be a good dj..after all..im usually in a club and too mashed to see how good they are anyway

Well he is perfect as far as im concerned Happy, but in the DJ scheme of things not quite got the ££££ rolling in yet!!
