I'm very pleased with my Kodak DX 6340.

 

It's easily within your price range, has 4x optical zoom, 3.1 Megapixels. The pictures are wicked and the battery seems to last ages.

 

Even when you throw in all the extras (128meg memory, case, rechargeable batteries etc) you can get the lot for about £200.

Hmmn not bad.

 

Explain to me how you know the quality is good in terms of Pixels ? This is what confuses me.

 

It is good at picking up background lights / lazers etcetera ?
