Im in a debating competition on tuesday, and ive got to argue that modern technology DOES NOT lead to deficiency in basic communication skills.

 

so i need stats about how many people use emailing and tx messaging, and what the advantages are of using them, stuff like that...

 

plus any other suggestions would be great!

there's a few hundred quid, plus loads of other stuff.

who defines what basic communication is??

 

you could argue that txt messages / e-mail are basic communication and therefore we communicate alot more with a wider circle of people.

 

before ict people were alot closer and communicated laot more with people geographically closer to them becuase it was a smaller world.

 

simple [censored] that doesnt help cos u knew that already but i thought id say

i think yull find that more people can read and write now compared to 50+ years ago

whats that got to do with the introduction of electronic communication causing the decline in basic communcation??
