I generally dont mind [censored] music but when some track in my housemates room woke me up this morning b4 my alarm saying boogie woogie for half an hour and then for another half hour this evening i feel right to be a little pissed off with it.

He also pisses me off in that he does djing as a hobby and doesnt want to do it properly.

 

I know lots of people who do this but he has had decks for well over a year and cant beat match without using bpm counters and even then hes not that accurate. He recently sold his numark decks and got technic 1210s mk5s for no reason. He now is trying to scratch b4 he can beat match. I personally think that its a rather expensive hobby for him to be doing since hes a student as well

Bit expensive for a hobby. If i did it as a hobby i wud have kept the decks he originally had as they were just as good as technics. (He also said last year that he h8s 1210s).

not really i h8 vinyl and only use it when i have to. I don't like using effects so that rules out the mixer. And as for cd decks i have a Tascam cd-302 dual cd deck and a pioneer cdj1000. Beats the pants off shitty cdj500s.

 

And as for speakers he has a surround sound unit with subwoofer whilst i have pair of cerwin vega E-715.

hes trying to mix now and all i can hear is
