A primary school class comes in from lunch and sits down.

 

The teacher asks Billy "What did you do at lunchtime?"

 

Billy replies "I played in the sand pit, Miss"

 

Teacher says "Ok Billy, if you can spell 'sand' on the blackboard then I'll give you a sweet."

 

Billy goes up, spells sand correctly and gets his sweet and sits down.

 

The teacher then asks Jane what she did.

 

Jane answers "I was playing in the sand pit with Billy."

 

"Right Jane if you can come here and spell 'pit' I'll give you a sweet too."

 

Janes goes up, spells pit and gets her sweet.

 

The teacher then turns to Raj and asks him what he did at lunchtime.

 

Raj says "Well I was trying to play in the sand pit, but Billy and Jane wouldn't let me and kept throwing sand at me."

 

The teacher answers "Well Raj, that sounds like racial discrimination to me. If you can spell 'racial discrimination' on the board then I'll give you a sweet."

 

 

So what happened ? Did he spell it right ? ( )
