I think the most contagious stage is before the spots appear, after this it isn't very long. Have a check on NHS direct and stock up on the calamine lotion!

just checked on NHS direct, its only 5 days, aparently he had the spots on monday, i feel so guilty for not noticing, (not that he had spots anywhere visable)..........so that means he wont be contagious on friday

 

still cuts it a bit fine for this weekend

I thought it was once the spots were out it had passed being contagious

 

I've been called out of work kids do have some benefits

not long been doctors, he said hes safe to go to his dads for the weekend (was a bit worried because of the baby there), so everything should be ok. im just gonna hope that he dont get any worse

the second time you get the pox it goes into shingles........which is very painfull (aparently)
