well, yes it was very disapointing indeed....Wales had there chances and made very little of them, if they can't score a goal over a two legged match against a team of Russia's quality, then they don't deserve to go through in my opinion, if they have their first 11 out then they can look like a good team - but get a couple of injuries (s.davies and c.bellamy to note) then they can look very poor at times.

 

wales played 4, won 4 - seems a very long time ago now doesn't it? ah well least it wasn't 6-0 !

 

ahh well, as much as I cheered Wales on last night - I am 100% English - so i haven't lost too much sleep...and am still thinkin about swappin my yearly trip to Ibiza for a trip to Portugal next year

agree with what sum1 else said too - what's this with bringin Earnshaw on when the game is as good as over???? defenders are scared of pace...Hartson up front on his own, yeah he's good in the air, but he aint exactly lightnin quick. he needs someone up with him...

 

I think Wales should base there team around Earnshaw in the same way England do with Owen....Earnshaw reminds me of Owen in some ways, he would be one of my first names down to start.

well i was thinkin of doing both as well!! I have done Ibiza for the last 3 years...and always think 'ok, it's time for a change'.....but i fuckin love the island!!! so may have to do both as well.....only problem I have with portugal is that it's probably on at the height of the exams season (June)...and bein a exams officer may be a problem...but can usually sort somethin out.

Wales just bottled it players like robbie savage and jason kumas were running all over the place but with no purpose, which was leaving gaps for russia to exploit. I am England through and through but am gutted Wales aint there perticually for a mister Giggs who deserves to grace the world football stage!
