yeh eric is great but i dont thnk Slammin is that funky to be honest, not funky enoguh to buy and certainly not funky enough for my collection

I guess that is because its down to peoples interpretation/opinion on it then.. one person may say it is funk, another may not.

it is deffo funky, funk with a twist a breakdown that makes you wanna scream and a bassline that makes you wanna dance!! If all funky house sounded the same it would be boring!!

How exactly is it not funky ? That slamming ( ) bassline is the definition of funky.

put it this way, compared with all my other 100 records of funky house the baseline is the least funkiest of them all, it is a good tune dotn get me wrong i just dotn think it is that funky or slammin, unless you are in a club with the volume really loud and the bass turned up full....then the basslien would be good, but it shouldnt be like that, it should be funky without all the extras, that is how you knwo whether it is a proper funky hosue tune
