Neway the price depends not just on cost of creating it but also how many people are going to be buying it. Eg comp games: take yrs to develop sometimes (one i have took 7 yrs) but end up costing £30-40. Thats because many people will buy them. At the other end of the scale the software my dad used to sell was for banks and this software used to only be changed every so often by the banks. the cost of it therefore was £1million.

 

As music production is a specialist industry and therefore few people will buy it, this drives the cost up through the roof.

 

 

I was going to post a gag about flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality but it's just flogging a dead horse.
