James, Captain Cunted told me a name of one of the tunes played that night which I really liked. Its Powerpoint "Wajamaster" on Hotwax Records. Check it out and tell me if thats the sort of thing you're on about.

Yeah sorry, I think (as ever) I've mixed in 3 topics here - one being I'm bang into the hh/techno wicked percussion stuff (as played at afterclub), another being I love this new track and the acidy rift tunes I'm getting back into, and also a general point about 'driving' style.

 

Thanks for the name of that tune - anymore you know of please let me know ASAP so I can get my collection up to scratch.

Breakdowns (IMO) should be left to Trance - I cant stand it when people are looking at each other on the dancefloor going "HURRY THE [censored] UP"

Isnt music confussing, trying to break down the different styles!! I know I find it really hard, this is why I call most of it Harddance!! I have techy tunes that sound HH & HH that sound techy, they mix them all together nowadays IMO!!!

I think a lot can be confusing but I find I'm getting closer to the styles I truly like (although I can into new stuff as it comes along)

 

Maybe the answer isnt to have to explain the style but for me to just put 3 CDs together of the 3 styles I like (I think its now 3 lol)
