Si, i was on the north east coast at the Almond Beach Village.

I flew back on Monday on Virgin flight VS30.

I'm not saying that this country is good per se, but it's a realtive thing compared tp other countries we ain't that bad off.

True. All i'm saying is that almost every bit of news we have in this country is doom and gloom and The government don't give us a great deal for our money. I've just opened my wage slip and its a decent take home pay but i've had nearly 600 sheets deducted in tax and NI. I get payed every 4 weeks and haven't been into a hospital for over 8 years so i'd love to know what i get for my deductions for nearly 6K pa.

 

Also i'm a patriotic as the next man, i love the U.K. i love the majority of the people here and wherever you go in the world you can always find a friendly Brit to pass the time with. But there has got to be more to life in the U.K. than looking forward to the next weekend

i'm with ya on the deductions bit - i dont mind paying money towards hospitals/police/fire services/education/disabilities etc...am all for it...and our health service, as much as it is criticised is a lot better than other countries.

 

what im not happy with is paying for some bone idol git to stay at home and pick up £40/50 a week for doing nothing...in the USA if u dont work, u dont get anything...the way it should be.
