Not for wanting to repeat myself again - critisism is good and is a lot easier to take on board & learn from if its done in a contructive way.

the first tune is the biggest load of shite ive heard in my life. things improve but it aint my thing at all.

the really hard tunes are just dumb sounding. some of it is ok, but when its mixed up with all that other dross, it just dont work

it wasnt what i'd call hard techno..

gabba is gabba.. all this 'new style' is nonsense terminology

 

im guessing it was happy hardcore... but with all the gritted teeth, monster gurning and the general sadness of it all, it didnt seem very happy to me. looked like a room full of imaciated refugees doing the pogo!

the only reason for this is he duznt push himself as much as he shud!!!

 

he wud b playin along side the big trance djs if he did!!!

 

coz he is a fuckin good dj as a matter of fact!!

 

he makes his own tunes and duznt just play any shite!!!

 

ask any member on here who owns a copy of his mixes or has heard them!!!

 

and then you will know he knows what he is talkin about!!!

happy hardcore (the new stuff anyway) is very much like the euphoric vocal trance but faster & different baseline ( i think!) try downloading / listening to Scott Brown - 'Turn up the Music' for a good example of new happy hardcore

 

For new style gabba - try downloading something by Neophyte has done or Neophyte has done with Scott Brown

 

For hard techno hardcore try Producer or Promo

 

For gabba try Hellfish or Catscan
