Funky and hard house

i was told it was all funky and trance the other day, (was gonna change my mind about going, cant listen to it all night)

Upstairs is deffo funky house. But to be fair to describe downstairs as hard house is a tad misleading. It depends on who is playing in all honesty. For example when I went a couple of weeks back it was Tomcraft and JFK and they both played nothing other than trance. I expect when Lashes, Halliwell and co. are there that they'll play their typical style.

 

I prefer upstairs these days anyways. Bring on da funk.

i think the pre meet up should be in either bar bar, or revolution. bar bar is resanably cheap and not to hectic so everyone can have a chat.

Baa baa is too scally especially on a Saturday and their drinks offers aren't on either

 

Revolution ain't bad, but I reckon when paying those sort of prices for drinks Bluu is a lot nicer. We cud do both!

No, it's not Norwegian Blue, but I like that too. Bluu is quite new only opened in August time on Fleet Street.

 

I'm not in halls, tis my 3rd year now. I live in a very very "tidy" (ahem) house of Smithdown Road in true student-ville.

If your goin 2 Garlands then it's stupid meetin up in the BaaBar which is scally as hell on Satdee nights and other side of town!!

Creamy C I am gonna meet you that night and I swear to god I'll take you all to the best pre-bar your ever gonna see, its on Stanley street which leads onto Dale street VERY close to Garlands.

 

Best way to describe Stanley street's location: slap bang by Matthew Street. It aint really for students, more the exclusive ppl like me only jokin wit ya's!!

To be fair I'm not exactly all that keen on going to a Garlands pre-bar, it'll all be a bit too if ya know wot I mean.

 

Tomo, if ur suggesting a bar near Garlans, wot about Newz Bar on Water Street? And there should be no funny business in there if ya know wot I mean.

 

Anyway I ahve pm'd Kev all the details about where we should meet and I maintain Bluu bar so Tomo - stop sticking your oar in!!!

But I want somewhere hectic and expensive.

The pre-meet-up bar for Garlands on Saturday night IS changing from Edwards, new details will be updated and amended and everyone will be aware. It appears that we would have a problem with Edwards being the pre-meet-up and the fact it is quite a distance from Garlands, Tresh has PM'd the alternative venue which sounds a much better option.
