Kick It is a well produced number but it’s Motherbitch that oozes fun. It takes the porn style sample from the disco house number ‘Short Dick Man’ by 20 Fingers which, was a brief hit back in 1994 and injects some dance floor mayhem hard house style. Rebirth "Kick It" - Not exactly groundbreaking, but as far as hard dance goes it kind of does the right things in the right places.

 

"MotherBitch" pretty samey, but wtf are you doing with that vox sample? It made me cringe tbh.

Yea, I know it's not groundbreaking, but that was not what I was aiming at. I just wanted to make 2 tracks that's fun, and that'll get people moving on the dancefloor. The scene just became to serious.

 

As for that vocal in Motherbitch, you either love it or hate it

i said exactly the same when he 1st posted it on here some months ago. imo it justs embarrasses the tune.

 

how ever, total respect for getting your tune released on such a reputable label. thats far more than i could hope for with my current level of production experience

Hey, thats cool. Afterall you put out stuff that you are happy with.

Have to add tho, the next releases lined up over the next few months is quite different, and does take on fresh sounds....especially the new "Pienaar & Bamford" single from me and Alf called "Black Magic"....the flipside remix is also HUUUUUUGE..especially if your more into Hard Techno.

nah, the original isn't techno...although it does lend a few elements from it...but the remix is gonna be.
