I heard abit of it, and it seemed to be good, but i havent heard enough to pass judgement, So has anyone else heard any of this genre? if so what do you rekon?

i really do like tribal music from the bongos of the stone circle @ glastonbury, to the creative use of percussion in house/techno. cant really say i know ne DJs that specialise in tribal alone but alot of techno DJs do dable with tribal records. imo the 2 go hand in hand perfectly

 

on a pendantic note: its not a genre as far as i'm aware. just a style of techno/house

if it's like what i heard in cream when i went i could of committed suicide, i like to think i'm fairly open minded about different styles but it was abismal

I do like the more tribal end of tech house / progressive house. There's something very primal and exciting about congas and other "real" drums.

 

I think it would get a bit dull listening to "tribal" music all night though.

 

I've never thought of "tribal" as a genre per se, it's just an influence on other styles.
