my other pc when it boots up gives a warning tone after about 5 seconds... i know the type of tonw u get means what kind of problem there is... ie 'siren like' is the graphics at fault...

 

my beep stays at the same pitch and goes * * * * * * * * * * quickly until it shuts itself down

 

 

any ideas?

hmmm.. just got a message up last time it did it saying cpu fan not working...

 

 

..but its going round...lol

what make is it?...sounds like hardware, beeps are normally diagnostic...earth yourself by leaving the power cable plugged in, but tuned off at the mains, touch some metal on the case, then open her up and see if anything is loose.

 

If all this fails call the manufactures, or take it to be repaired.
